Tables booked while you cook
A caller gets a reservation in your calendar instead of a ringing phone nobody picks up.
Answers from your own notes
Opening hours, address, parking and house rules, read back exactly as you wrote them.
Allergies never guessed
It does not say a dish is safe. It takes the question and a callback number for the kitchen.
Questions it answers from your notes
Write opening hours, address, parking, menu link and house rules once. It reads them back, and it does not invent anything you left out.
“Are you open on Mondays?”
Reads your opening hours, including the days you close.
“Is there parking nearby?”
Gives the directions you wrote, nothing more.
“Can I see the menu?”
Says where to find it, and offers to send the link.
“Do you take dogs on the terrace?”
Answers if you wrote the rule. If not, it takes a message.
What it passes to a person
Some calls should reach someone who can decide. It takes the details and sends them to you with the summary.
Allergies
It never says a dish is safe. It takes the question and a callback number for the kitchen.
Large groups and private events
Date, number of guests and what they have in mind, ready for the manager.
Complaints
It listens, apologises for the wait and takes the details without arguing the case.
Suppliers and press
Name, company and number, kept apart from the guests' calls.
What restaurant owners ask
Does it see my table plan?
No. A booking goes into your calendar as an appointment with the time, the party size and a name. It does not know which table is free.
Can it take takeaway orders?
No. It answers questions and takes a message for orders, so the kitchen decides what it can add to the queue.
What if a caller asks about allergens?
It never says a dish is safe. It writes down the allergen and the dish, takes a callback number and sends it to you with the summary.
Will it work on a busy Friday night?
Yes. Each call is its own conversation, so a second caller is not left waiting while the first one finishes.
Do I need to change my phone number?
No. You forward your line to the number we give you and can switch the forwarding off at any time.
Let the kitchen cook, let the phone be answered
Write your hours and house rules, forward the line and hear it in your browser first.
