Pricing questions
What happens if I go over my minutes?
We will tell you before you get there. How extra minutes are charged is not final yet; we will publish the rate before launch, and you will not be billed a surprise amount.
How does the 7-day trial work?
Pro only. You add a card, nothing is charged for 7 days (up to 30 call minutes), and when the trial ends the card is charged automatically for the plan you chose until you cancel. If you cancel during the trial you are never charged, and the trial ends at that moment. Business has no trial. One trial per business.
Can I cancel any time? Do you refund?
You can cancel whenever you like and we will not charge the next period. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and that period is not refunded. The exception is the trial: cancel during it and you pay nothing. Full details on the payments and refunds page.
Can I keep my current phone number?
Yes. You forward calls from your existing number to Remute, so nothing changes for your customers. Moving (porting) a number to Remute is planned, not available yet.
What are the limits of the free plan?
5 minutes a month of test calls in your browser, one AI receptionist, English and Spanish, and email summaries. A real phone number, calendar booking, SMS summaries and recordings are part of Pro, which you can try free for 7 days.
Which languages does it speak?
English and Spanish, with automatic detection on every call. All plans include both.
Is Remute HIPAA compliant?
Not yet. Remute does not give medical advice and we do not recommend it for handling protected health information today. If you are a clinic, it works well for scheduling and general enquiries; tell us what you need.
