Hours and split shifts
Set the days you open and a second range for split shifts. Remute offers times only inside them, in your time zone.
Appointment booking
Callers ask for a time and Remute finds a free one, books it while they are still on the line and keeps your calendar up to date if the appointment changes.
Remute books appointments over the phone. It checks the hours you set, your Google Calendar and the appointments already in Remute, offers only free times and confirms one while the caller is on the line. If they change their mind, the new time replaces the old one, so there are no double bookings.
Works with
Before offering a time, Remute asks Google Calendar which hours are busy, looks at your Calendly bookings and at the appointments already in Remute. It skips anything taken.
A caller who says "actually, make it Friday" does not end up with two bookings. The new time replaces the one booked earlier in the same call.
When an appointment is moved or cancelled in Remute, the event in your Google Calendar is updated or removed. If Google is unreachable, the update is retried.
No double bookings
Remute checks the slot against your hours, your holidays, your calendar and the appointments it has already booked, both when it offers a time and again right before it confirms. A slot that was taken a second ago is refused.

Appointments are 30 minutes long and Remute looks up to 14 days ahead. Longer or shorter visits are not set per service yet.
Every workspace gets a private .ics feed. Subscribe from Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar and see the bookings there.
Bookings are pushed to Google Calendar in the background. If the call fails, Remute retries after 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours and 12 hours.
Each booking is filed under the caller's phone number with their name and the reason for the visit, in your appointments list.
