A voice for each language
Pro and Business use Aura-2 voices: 3 for Spanish and 5 for English. A chosen voice is used only for calls that open in its language; otherwise the default voice for that language is used.
Bilingual receptionist
Callers speak English or Spanish and some change halfway through. Remute answers in the language it hears, and you read one summary in yours.
Remute is an AI receptionist that speaks English and Spanish on a single phone number. It answers in the caller's language, switches from the next sentence if the caller does, and writes the summary in your business language. You do not need a second line or a bilingual employee on every shift.

EmmaHi, I'd like a cleaning on Thursday.
RemuteOf course. Does 10:30 work for you?
EmmaPerfect, thank you.
Choose English, Spanish or both for your agent. When both are on, Remute understands either one, replies in the caller's language and, if the caller changes language, switches fully from its next sentence. It does not mix two languages in one sentence.
The summary is written in the main language of your agent, whatever language the caller spoke, and it says which language the caller used. Your team can act on every call without translating anything.
The opening line and the voice share one language: the language your greeting is written in, if the agent speaks it, or your main language if not. On Pro and Business you pick from 3 Spanish and 5 English voices.
A call in two languages
A clinic greets in Spanish. The caller answers in English, and Remute carries on in English, books the appointment and sends the clinic a summary in Spanish. Nobody was asked to repeat anything or to hold for someone who speaks the other language.

When the caller is a foreigner or speaks English, Remute speaks clearly and simply, says Spanish street and place names naturally and does not assume they know local procedures.
If someone asks about taxes, residency (NIE), mortgages or contracts, Remute says it cannot advise and offers a call-back from a specialist on your team.
This website and the dashboard where you manage calls, contacts and appointments work in both languages.
Write the opening line in your own words. Remute adds that it is a virtual assistant and that the call may be recorded, in the same language.
Add the names and terms of your business and how they should sound, such as a doctor's surname or a street, and Remute listens for them and says them your way.

The line opens in Spanish
The clinic wrote its greeting in Spanish, so the call opens in Spanish, with the Spanish voice. It says it is a virtual assistant, that the call may be recorded and asks how it can help.

The caller answers in English
Emma Collins, an example caller, replies in English. From its next sentence Remute speaks English only.
23:40
Voice stays in the opening language
The call keeps the voice chosen for the opening language, so the English can carry a Spanish accent. This is a known limit.
23:41
The appointment is booked in English
Emma gives her name and number and picks Thursday at 10:30. Remute books it and says the date and time out loud.

The clinic reads Spanish
The summary is written in the clinic's language and notes that the caller spoke English.

No. One number serves both languages. Forward your business line to Remute and it answers in English or Spanish, depending on the caller.
Yes. The opening line and the voice follow the language of your greeting, as long as the agent speaks that language. Without a custom greeting the call opens in the main language of the agent.
The words are right, but the voice is one per call. Switching language mid-call is spoken with the opening-language voice and can carry an accent. For callers who stay in one language, the voice matches.
Only English and Spanish today. Other languages are not available.
The Free plan has 5 minutes a month to test it in your browser, with no card. Pro costs $49 a month and starts with a 7-day trial. Real phone calls need Pro or Business.
Remute replies in the new language from its next sentence and carries on. It does not mix two languages in one sentence or ask the caller to repeat.
In the main language of your agent, even if the caller spoke the other one. The summary says which language the caller used.
